Jim Hughes & Marinell Schafer proudly present Diamond Jim's. Diamond Jim's is a new Restaurant/Bar in Downtown Midland, Michigan. It is located at 101 East Main Street in the location previously occupied by 101 Main, and the East Main Sports Pub.

The location is old, but the business is new. Diamond Jim's is in no way affiliated with any previous owners.

Jim Hughes is also the General Manager, and oversees the day to day operation of the business. Jim has spent over 35 years in Management level positions within the Food & Beverage Industry. Jim has Managed, Bars, Restaurants, Banquet Facilities, & spent 14 years in the Private Country Club sector of the business. Most recently he spent five years with The Golden Corral Corporation as the General Manager in Winchester, Kentucky, and five years in Michigan as a Manager at The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, in Bay City.

Marinell Schafer is a lifelong resident of Midland County, and is equally committed to Diamond Jim's. She works works evenings, and weekends with a zeal that can only be described as tenacious. She has worked her entire life for a Fortune 500 Company, and has taken to this business like a duck to water. She is not afraid to try anything, and like Jim is dedicated to making your trip to Diamond Jim's both enjoyable, and memorable.
