Our misson statement "To provide a quality product at a reasonable price" is not just rhetoric, but our business philosophy.

We understand that times are tough for a lot of people. We are here to offer to you an alternative to higher prices. We use the same quality ingredients as our competitors, but cut out a lot of the profit part so that we can provide the same product at a lower price.

Competition drives us here at Diamond Jim's. Marinell, and Jim are committed to make Diamond Jim's a huge success, and both work long hours to make sure that our guests are happy. We are actual Owner/Managers, and are here, and accountable, every hour that we are open.

We open at 11:00 AM every day except Sunday, when we open at 12:00 PM.

Beginning at 11:00 AM Monday - Friday, we offer up our Soup, Salad, and Sandwich bar. Included you will find four homemade soups, Seasonal salad greens, fresh salad toppings, fresh cut fruit, homemade chicken salad, homemade tuna salad, assorted deli meats, cheeses, and breads. All you can eat for $6.95. No long lines at the drive thru, no lost time waiting for food to come out of a kitchen, you just start eating.

For those who are not on such a tight schedule, we offer a very diverse lunch menu daily until 4:00 PM.

From 3:30-7:00 Monday - Friday we offer Happy Hour. We take pride in our Happy Hour as we know that after a long hard day everybody wants to have a little fun. We don't just knock a quarter off the all ready too high price, and call it good. Happy Hour Prices are as follows:

Domestic Draft Beer $2.25
Domestic Bottle Beer $2.25
Well Drinks $2.50
Premium Drinks $3.00
House wines $3.00

Enjoy specially prepared foods for happy hour, all free of charge. Some of our happy hour offerings include but are not limited to Meatballs Marinara, Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Shrimp Egg Rolls, Pork Egg Rolls, Jalapeno Poppers, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Potato Skins, and each Friday we have Peel & Eat Shrimp, Bufflo Shrimp, Fried Clam Strips, and Shrimp Salad.

Enjoy a little unwind time with friends, and not be scared straight when you get the bill.

Beginning at 4:00 PM each day except Sunday we will offer our dinner menu. There are many wonderful offerings. Appetizers, Salads, Soups, Steaks, Seafood, and Pasta dishes all at a very reasonable price. See the menu tab on this web page for a complete copy of our menu.

There is live entertainment on Friday, and Saturday nights beginning at 9:30 PM. We will feature some of the best local talent available. There will be acoustic music, jazz, blues, and much more. Check out our events tab to see when your favorites are playing.

Owner, and General Manager Jim Hughes has spent over 35 years in Management level positions within the Food & Beverage Industry. He has managed bars, nightclubs, restaurants, Private Country Clubs, and most recently served as a Manager at the Cracker Barrel in Bay City. Jim hopes to bring to Midland a concept that promises to offer a little something for everyone. Great drinks, great food, and most of all a staff that will have high standards for service. Diamond Jim's is determined to have a safe, fun, and friendly atmosphere for the enjoyment of you, your friends, and your special guests.

James Maynard who opened his very first Golden Corral in North Carolina in 1973 told me once, "Jim don't worry about the other guys, worry about what goes on inside your own four walls. That is where your focus needs to be. If you treat your guests with respect, value them, and give them a quality product at a reasonable price they will support you forever". I live that dream.
